Stephen Salvatore Benedetto III, 72, loving son of the late Rose (Lanzisera) of Middle Village and Stephen S. Benedetto of Waterbury, CT, sister of Rosemary Stimola, brother-in-law of Michael Stimola and beloved uncle to Aubrey Stimola Ryan and Adriana Stimola Begley, and their husbands, Peter Ryan and Ryan Begley.

Born in Waterbury, CT and raised in Middle Village, an Air Force veteran, Stephen was a bus operator for MAPSTOA (MTA) for 30 years and after retiring, operated school buses for the NYC Board of Education for 11 years before retiring again to spend more time with family and friends, and fishing on Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
