DANIEL JOSEPH WERNICKI Daniel Joseph Wernicki of Los Angeles, California, and formerly of Middle Village, Queens, died on Saturday, October 1st. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was the loving father of Willow and Avery and the beloved son of Frank and Cecilia Wernicki. An avid fisherman, outdoorsman, social activist, and real estate developer, Daniel was the dear brother of Kathleen McCluskey and the late Frank M. Wernicki. He leaves behind his niece Gabrielle, nephews Liam, Lucas and Aidan and his brother-in-law Martin. He will be greatly missed by his companion, Jennifer and many family members and friends who loved him dearly. Services will be offered in Middle Village at Village Chapel on Friday and at Our Lady of Hope Church on Saturday at 9:45a.m. Internment will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, New York.
