Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Zimmer
Condolence: I remember when Danny was little he slept in that trundle bed that pulled out at night. He told everyone he "slept in a drawer."
He grew up to be a man who enjoyed life, his family, fishing, and the ocean. I know he will be missed.

Condolence:
I got to know Danny much better when he moved back to New York. He'd come to the apartment after "chant" and we'd go out in the West Village and watch football at Off The Wagon on MacDougal. I will remember him as the kind of person that could strike up a conversation with anyone, as he often did. He was a great story teller, and had vivid memories of growing up in Williamsburg with Grampa Wally, the family and even Devo. He had a big heart and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. But he also loved living in California, where he could enjoy great weather and fish year 'round. We will miss you.

Condolence: My darling Danny. How broken hearted you have left us. But we all must dig deeper and remember beyond this sad, sad week, to when we were all laughing and dancing together. I will never forget your long, strong hugs that wrapped me close to you. Your spontaneous laughter and smile that lit up a room. I will treasure your inspiration that directed me toward meditation and yoga. And I will keep the memories of our long walks, deep talks, and precious adventures with me always. And, best of all, I will make barbecue fajitas, as often as possible, and always think of you when I do. Namaste, my darling cousin, Namaste.

Condolence: My memories of my little brother will always be a man who had a passion for his little girls, baseball, the Boy Scouts, and a love for the salty air and blue skies of a California beach while surfcasting for a big fish!
He hated urban jungles and craved the great outdoors where he could be one with nature. Though his life here on earth may have been cut short, his time was spent searching for the true meaning of life and a deeper connection to his soul.
Thank you Daddy for taking us fishing every weekend of our childhood and instilling in us a love of the ocean. Those special memories will live in our hearts forever!!!
Rest in peace baby brother!

with much love,
Kathleen

Condolence: Celia and Frank:

I remember the first time that I met Danny...he had such a zest for life. There was always a great big smile on his face. He had a big heart. Never shy. He touched people in a special way. Always making a lasting impression. Unforgettable. The conversation was always lively, fast paced, touching on so many subjects. Never one to sit still. He will be greatly missed, but I will always remember him in that captivating picture: surf casting on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, looking to catch the big one.

With love, Celia and Frank, and to you Danny, may you rest in peace.

Marty
